Statistics Canada states that almost half of the workforce will be born in a foreign country or at least have one parent from another country. This means that people grow in households where the cultural ideas are different, which just might bring new great ideas to the table and provide tangible and intangible benefits to the organization. In metropolitan areas the minority will no longer be considered minority, in fact they will be the majority in the next decade or so, because the population will double in many major cities in Canada. Every business will be hiring minority because of the many qualities they will bring to the organization. what are some qualities that will increase the demand for workforce diversity?
